About us

I always knew my husband was a history buff but didn't realise it would start to rub off on me. Over the last 15 years or so I've been taken on many trips to tank museums, festivals and been fortunate to ride in a tank. 

Then, one day I was speaking with my mother-in-law and she said she had found boxes of tanks, lots of them in the attic that she had kept safe from his childhood. It was then that I thought there must be others out there that have similar interests and so Tanklands was born!

This site has been designed to bring a community of Army tank lovers together. To learn about their history, share stories and you may even want to visit our shop!
